Martha Schlosser

Beloved wife of Herbert (deceased); loving mother of Arthur (Mary Ann) of Toledo and Rachelle (Michael Kerrigan) of Forest Hills, NY; dearest grandmother of Sarah Schlosser, Miranda and Sean Kerrigan.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 14, 1932 and moved to Cleveland Heights in 1968. She received her BS in music and MM at Hunter College, studying piano with Sayde Goldenberg, and Hanna Laurie-Poliakoff and later in Cleveland with Vitya Vronsky.

Martha performed in New York City, Cleveland, and internationally and was a member of the Preparatory Piano Department at the Cleveland Institute of Music for twenty years. She was a member of several area music clubs, and performed a recital four days before she passed away.

Services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS., Friday, November 22 at 11:30 AM.

Interment Workmen's Circle Cemetery (W. 54th Street and Theota Avenue).

The family will observe shiva at the Schlosser residence on Friday from 3-5pm; Saturday from 6-8pm, and on Sunday 1-3pm.
