I always enjoyed talking to Joel and family at Dick's Marina.  
I know how hard it is to lose a family member. My dad died in Feb. 2020.  It is never easy to lose someone.

Dear Diane,
      I want to express my  deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved Joel.  I just attended the live streaming of his service, and was so honored to be able to see and hear your wonderful family talk about Joel and see the love expressed by them.  
    I was quiet in grade school & H.S., but I remember Joel as always being so kind and thoughtful.  I do remember in 6th grade class, when Joel left after being told that his Dad had suddenly passed away.  In later years,  my mother, Mary Bahler and I , at our Class of '55 reunions and Bashes were so happy to meet you and to become better acquainted with Joel. I met the Adelman Family when I was hired as Mr. Joel's caretaker in October 2020 until his death. I just want to say that Mr. Joel and his family welcomed me with open arms and eventually becoming family. I truly appreciate and will never forget how you guys included me in all your family celebrations and traditions. I will forever be grateful and Mr. Joel you'll truly be missed. 

Joel was such a gentle man and quiet leader of Ohio pharmacy. So many great memories of Joel and Diane from the Ohio Pharmacists Association Long Range Planning sessions at Ohio’s State Parks. Our thoughts and prayers for Diane and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Joel’s passing. I wanted to come see him but I knew I would not handle that well.  You all are my favorite patients! You are more like family to me. I loved when he would sit and talk to me about everyday life... just the simple things. Even when he wasn’t feeling well, he would always ask me how I am doing and how my dad is. My deepest sympathy to Diane and her family. Joel and I have known each other since the third grade of school and grew up as together as neighbors. He will be missed.

I find it hard put my thought  on Joel’s passing. He was my friend we grew up together .I knew for 80 years. He was a really great guy . We stayed in touch though miles separated us.When young we did everything together.He will be missed by all.
