Five years have gone by. But the fun memories linger amid the sadness.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 4 years . We are planning our 55th reunion and you will always be part of it. Your enthusiasm ,was well recognized . Missing your dedication ,thinking about you at this time.

My deepest condolences to Jim’s family. He was a dear and compassionate young man as my high school friend, and maintained that throughout his life. Jim loved organizing and bringing community together with a zealous flair none could match.

So sad to hear of Jim's passing.   He was a former co-worker at Grubb & Ellis way back when, and he was regarded as one of the most compassionate and intelligent individuals in the real estate industry.  I always loved sitting across from him and hearing stories of his trips and thensome.  My sympathies are extended to all who loved him, including his cousin Sheila and her husband Chuck who I currently work with.  May you rest in peace Jim.  

Jim will be missed by the whole community.  He was the very definition of a righteous man.  He touched the lives of so many people and will be missed.

Jim was a friend to everyone.    Kind, thoughtful, generous and warm, that was Jim.  I am very saddened today .  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. 

Jim was a mensch.  He did so much good for so many in the community.  Always practical, always creative and always with a touch of humor.  So long, friend.

Where to start? You were such a great influence in my life. From being my roommate in Vegas to late nights laughing in Chicago, you will always be remembered as such a wonderful part of my life. Always willing to take my call to laugh or vent or cry. Katlyn and I love you and you will always be missed. Ophelia, we are here for you, just around the corner. Don’t be a stranger, Jimmy never was.

Jimmy was one of my dearest childhood friends on Edgewood where we lived next door to one another for several years, where we had enough kids in the neighborhood for two kickball teams, where we played hide and seek day in and day out and  where we talked to each other out of our bedroom windows at night, much to our parents' dismay.  He is a large part of the tapestry of my life,  and I will carry him with me forever.  My heartfelt condolences to Ofelia, Arlene and family on this profound loss.

Over the past several years I have had the fortunate opportunity to get to know Jim thru Site Source which is the commercial real estate network we were members of.  The president of our association (Mike Guggenheim) summed it up best when he said "Jim was one of the most compassionate, engaging & giving individuals I have ever known".  Jim truly treated every person he came in contact with as if they were his best friend and the most important person in his life.  A great example for all to emulate.  Jim, you will be greatly missed.

We are deeply saddened with the loss of our dearest neighbor.  We met Jim the very first day we moved into our home 16 years ago, and we can truly say that no one could ask for a better friend and neighbor.   I will miss his friendly smile and wave, and that he always took the time to stop and chat.  There is an empty spot on our street that will not be filled for a very long time.  We will miss you, Jim.

When I moved to Cleveland Jim was one of the first people to ask me to join him in serving the Jewish Federation of Cleveland.  He was a tireless advocate for helping others and I'm grateful for having known him.   He leaves a lasting legacy of philanthropy and community service .  May his memory be for a blessing.

Jim and I didn't spend that much time together in high school but I knew how hard a worker he was. His sense of humor was always there too. The family can be very proud of the man he was..My heartfelt condolences to all of you.

Jim was a valued business associate of mine for over 30 years, and he became a very dear friend as well. Jim and his beloved partner, Ofelia, graciously entertained me and my wife many times when we were in Cleveland. We always had a wonderful time and enjoyed their company. Jim was a good man in every sense and will be sorely missed. Shalom my friend.

Jim was one of the most amazing human beings I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. The very personification of the word “friend,” Jim was warm, caring, joyful and devoted. He will be missed by all. May his memory be a blessing for us all. 

Having known Jim for over 50 years I have the fondest memories of a sweet & gentle man.  

To know Jim is to know the true meaning of friendship.  Never met a kinder, more generous person.  Jim, you were always here for us.  You made us smile, laugh and we cried together.  You set the bar high and always went above it.  We love you and will miss your smile and hearing your voice.

Jim was awesome.  I worked with him at NAI Daus & Associates.  Even when I relocated to Mansfield, I could always reach out to him and he would respond.  Always great fun memories of him.  My deepest condolences to the family.

Jim was my best friend. The most warm, caring and forgiving human being I have had the honor to know. We shared great times and sad times and we were there for each other. We will miss you. But you are at peace. 

Kind. Generous. Sincere. Caring. Thoughtful.  These words immediately come to mind when I think of Jim.  I saw him infrequently— mostly through Facebook— but still felt a genuine closeness. It was easy to feel that way with Jim.  I am saddened by his passing.

What can I say. Not knowing each other in high school it was meant for us to come together as Co-Chairs for our class reunions.
We worked well together and put on the classiest of reunions.
You will forever be my co-chair. You will always be here in spirit.

Jim was a good friend and business associate of mine for the last 15 years. He was honest, cheerful, optimistic, humble, caring, efficient, modest, thoughtful and just one of the nicest human beings I have ever known. He never missed sending a birthday text, an invitation to his Super Bowl parties or just a "how are you" text. I will miss his smile and friendship, but will remember him forever.

Jim never ceased to appear at the right time and the right place with  a great mixture of positive mental attitude and humor. He will be missed greatly.
