Barbara Daly

Barbara Daly (nee Marks), dearly beloved wife of Howard Herman; devoted mother of Hallie Roth (Aaron) of San Diego, CA, Jamie Silver (Rob) of New York, NY, Jodi Wheeler (nee Isenberg (deceased) and step-daughter Rachel Leiderman of San Francisco, CA; cherished grandmother of Zach Wheeler, Quinn Roth, Elli Roth and Noah Silver; dear sister of Linda Fine (Martin) and Michael Marks (deceased); loving aunt to Jason and Benny Fine.

Barbara was a jack of all trades. Early in her career she worked as a bank teller. Later, she translated her love for shopping into owning a handbag and shoe store, “That’s My Bag” and managed the thrift store for The Gathering Place. Throughout her life she was a tax preparer and was also the joint owner of a very successful dog business.

Over 45 years volunteering with NCJW, performing with Entertainmobile (a traveling singing troupe who performed at nursing homes putting smiles on the residents faces), and more recently volunteering at Designer Dress Days. Barbara also loved playing Mahjong, Canasta and Rummy Cube.

Barbara knew love intimately and loss deeply. She had more friends than humanly possible. Barbara’s compassionate heart welcomed both human wanderers and four-legged wayfarers

alike.

Services will be held Monday, July 29 at 10:00AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at Point East Community Room, 27500 Cedar Rd., Beachwood IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INTERMENT MONDAY UNTIL 8PM.
