Roger Dale Jones

Roger Dale Jones, 79, of Clemmons passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at his home. He was born October 29, 1943 in Forsyth County to Curtis and Minnie Yokeley Jones. He was retired from RJR Archer after 37 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Emily Ketner Jones; two sons, Dean Jones (Debbie) of Kernersville, NC and Brian Jones (Betchay) of King, NC; four grandchildren, Miranda Miller, Stuart, Va., Dillon Jones and Nicole Jones both of Kernersville; a step granddaughter, Erika (Ryan) Clayton of Walkerton and their twin children, Brooks and Harper; a brother, Jack Jones of Winston-Salem; and a sister, Judy Hoots (Roger, who was like a brother) of Kernersville. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 11:30-1;00pm at Vogler Funeral Home in Clemmons, followed by the Rosary and Requiem Mass at 1:00pm in the Vogler Chapel. Entombment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
