Judith "Judy" (Bragg) Lowe

Judy was born on September 16, 1947 in Oceana WV to LLoyd Bragg and Rita Elkins Bragg.

She graduated from Oceana HIgh School in 1966. She moved to Winston Salem, NC in 1989.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years, Ray Lowe. Also preceding her

were her parents, two brothers: Eddie and Danny Bragg, three sisters: Patsy Sexton, Carol

Slatton, Barbara Crouse and two sisters-in-law: Vicky Lewis and Wanda Pellerin.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter Jennifer Milam and two sons, Rev James

Milam III (Rhonda) and Chad Milam. Also two stepchildren, Michael (Angela) Lowe and Tammy

Lowe. She has a precious grandson, James Brown. She has four step grandchildren, Austin,

Branden, Caden and Mikayla Lowe. She has four brothers Acy (Linda), Dickie, Freddie (Sherry)

and Jimmy (Kara) Bragg. She has a very special niece, Linda Sexton (Joe), and nephew, Tim

(Ann) Slatton, who were so much more than they ever knew. A special sister, Bonnie (Roy)

Brandon, who wasn’t blood but was her dearest confidant. She is also survived by a host of

nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Judy wished to be cremated and buried beside her husband. A graveside service will be held on

Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC. Services will be officiated by Rev James Milam, III.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to the Shepherd’s Center of

Winston Salem, NC.

The family is being served by the Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home

in Clemmons, NC.
