Jimmy Carol Calloway

“JC” Calloway of Germanton, 67, passed away Sunday November 20th, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born December 28, 1948 in Watauga County to Julius and Sabrit Ward Calloway. JC was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church for 22 years and was retired from Vulcan Materials after 42 years of service.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Jane Boyer Calloway; daughter Tammy Calloway; two sons Jimmy Calloway (Page) and David Calloway (Christina); twelve grandchildren Brandon Warden, Amanda Warden, Nicole Warden, Nathan Warden, Kelly Calloway, Shawn Calloway, Cassandra Calloway, Andrew Garrity, Kayla Palacios, Jake Calloway, Josh Calloway, and Brittany Calloway; ten great grandchildren; two brothers Frank Calloway and Albert Calloway; and three sisters June Wagner, Sadie Ward, and Mabel Reid.

A funeral service for JC will be held on Wednesday November 23rd, 2016 at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel at 2pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 to 2pm. Burial will follow services at Forsyth Memorial Park.
