I worked with Todd at store 866 . For a long time i was trying to at least move up to cashier and Todd was the one who finally gave me a chance after almost 9 years . I felt like he was the only manager who actually believed that I could handle it and i want to thank him again for the opportunity. He was a great boss and treated everyone fairly .

What a heartfelt tribute to a man with a big ❤️, big enough to love a lot, especially his family. I am a better person for having known him and worked at Pasadena Publix for him.

I can’t find the words to express how much Todd meant to me as a mentor, Store Manager and friend. From the many trips down the road from 866 to Tori’s Cafe ( he said they had the best pancakes and he was right) where we would talk about life, career and family to the time he came from another district on his day off just to speak up for me at the round table (I was promoted after that), I learned how to be a better leader and person. I’m so glad I got to speak to him recently and thank him for his kindness. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. I only hope I can make the same impact on others as Todd has on me.

Todd was definitely one of my mentors.  To me Todd was a fun store manager. He knew how to make money and at the same time make his customers happy. He was also a great friend.  I have tried to carry his legend on as the beach guru.  He was the best!! Hopefully I will make him proud.  He will be missed in my heart always. 💕

Todd use to check out in my line at Publix. I would tell him how much we all loved his children. He always said, "Thats my wife. She did it all." I would just smile because the kids truly loved their Dad.

My name is Eirini from Salem Massachusets and I had many years experience in customer service . In my passed I had applied at publix a few times and I had not got a job there yet well many years pass and I got an interview By Todd kostacky and Sean his customer service assistant sometime in December of 2015 and Todd listened to what I had to say about how you treat a customer the details of how I had treated customers in all my life Mr . Todd listened to what I had to say and Sean as well and Mr. Todd gave me a chance to work at Publix Market December 12,2015 I was so happy and excited to not even finish my application and he told he liked what I said about how we treat customers everyday at our job . The time that I spent with my Boss Mr. Todd I saw him as a brother and boss and I went above and beyond to make him proud of me because he was so nice and friendly he would come around to team members and validate the well done job they did and I was so happy to go to Publix everyday with  joy to see him he made my day  Everyday while he was my store manager . I can’t say enough kind words how I saw Mr . Todd Kostacky how he treated Also his grandkids and kids I saw when they would come around to see them . Mr Todd Kostacky hired good people that had experience and expertise to treat customers and we had an amazing team that worked together and we were all smiling I will never forget all the times we had together as the holidays came and we worked and played too at Publix 866 where I was hired by him and I am still there I love working at Publix and he opened the door so I could show him what I am made of . God bless his family in this time and I am thankful he was in my life because he made my life better much love , Eirini 

I have known this family over 50 years we lived behind each other and years ago I gave him and Lori a German Shepherd mix puppy family named her princess. As The years passed on she still remembered me and every so often she was jumping 6-foot fence to come visit me when I took her home it was always Todd or Lori that would open the door and welcome her back home.. princess had the best home ever. I could never thank them enough..Todd is in heaven now walking on streets of gold living in a mansion reminiscing with his dad and his old dog princess fly with the angels Todd. I feel like I have known Todd my whole life.  I honestly couldn't tell you where we 1st met. More than likely middle school.  Several years ago I was walking down the aisle at  Labelle Plaza Publix. Someone called my name and when I turned around it was Todd. Always with a warm smile and even warmer hug. We were chit chatting catching up on family etc.  A woman came up and asked whe the marshmallows were. Todd smiled that funny smile of his and said " Why they are in the marshmallow Isle of course. Come on I'll take you over there." They both walked away chuckling and I just shook my head and said that is "so Todd."  One of the funniest most loving men I've ever known.  My heart breaks for  Susan and the family. I hope you find comfort in these  days ahead knowing how many lives he touched in a positive way.  Rest in peace my friend until we meet again. ❤🙏🏼

Todd was such a great manager. I was 16, first job, and he was one of the best first managers a girl could ask for. He was fun to be around. I remember hiding behind the paper towels and jumping out during one of our closing aisle walls as a team after leveling. My condolences go to his family. Sending love! 

I would like to send my sincere condolences to Todd’s family. My family lived across the street from the Kostacky’s on Anna Ave.  when we were kids, what a great time that was. Keeping all who loved Todd in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Jane and I, along with Janet and George Jr. (Georgie), would like to send our sympathies to you all.  Todd and Lori grew up on Anna along with Janet and George.  There was a lot of back and forth down the street and to the creek near our neighborhood.  We remember Todd enjoying the creek and catching various frogs, lizards and snakes!  One time we had company from out of town and I asked Todd to come ring our doorbell with a snake around his neck.  When the bell rang, I asked our friend to answer the door for us.  Well to say she was startled was an understatement!  We all had a good laugh.  Danielle, Janet read your facebook post to us about how lucky you were to live close and see your dad often.  I know you are going through unimaginable grief now, but I hope it's soon replaced with great memories of a live well lived.  Please pass on this message to Arlene, Susan, Lori and Danielle and the rest of Todd's loved ones.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Todd was my manager at store #117 and then #1320.  My first encounter with Todd was at my Service award luncheon he'd just joined our store only a couple days before so he didn't know us except for our badge name.  So many people pronounce my name wrong but are close.  Well Todd was no exception lol. When he called my name he said Ruth Vandooney and that stuck with me for many years . Prayer for his family . Rest in Peace Todd.

I loved working with Todd and absolutely how he set the bar high for customer service. He was kind to everyone and also displayed a great sense of humor. To his family, may your memories be some measure of comfort during this sad time

I worked with Todd back in my late teens and we always managed to stay in touch over the years. He always took the time to talk about family, ask about our lives and never missed a moment to remind me of my misadvantures at Publix such as "stripper skiing." No it's not what you think but its just as fun as it sounds. Let's  just say it involved a lot of floor stripper, two scrappers and a makeshift cape! Good times! We'll miss you Todd. Rest in peace.

I'm new, I started around the super bowl and I didn't know him too well but I know he was our former store manager, he always greeted me when I started my shift and he was a funny guy, he was always making everyone laugh and he definitely worked hard to keep  the store running, I appreciated him giving me the opportunity to work and still work at Publix.

I met Todd when I was 13 and I'm now 19. Todd was an inspiration to us all, he loved everyone of his associates and cared for anyone who walked through the door. Whenever we passed each other he would always make a joke just to see me smile. May he rest in peace.

Todd used to call me trouble number one and jean trouble number two Said when you saw one you would see the other  we will miss him. He just called us old. We are in our seventy May God bless you and family. Our  Prayers are with each and every one of you
