Ron was affectionately known as the Mayor of Northwood Estates, and his memory will live on with all of us ‘old timers’. He always had a story, anecdote, or joke, and our dogs could never walk by without greeting him with a wag, waiting for a pet and a treat, as he’d take a break from his woodworking to chat. 
He was devoted to his beloved Sue, the sweetheart of the neighborhood, and I pray she was waiting to greet him as he crossed over into eternity. Vaya Con Dios, old friend.

Ron was a dear friend and neighbor. He would invite us and our grandchildren over to fish in the pond in back of his house. Ron was a very gifted carpenter an painter.  He would create holiday items out of wood, paint them,  an then give  them to friends an neighbors. Russ an I will miss the dinners out with Ron, and his great jokes. Tammy , Todd and Family will be in our thoughts an prayers.                                                   God Bless and Love Russ and Carolyn 



Ron and I started working together in 1981 when he was transferred to be the Controller for the newly built Square D Pinellas Park Plant. We remained friends even after he left Square D and started his own business. We have enjoyed sharing many group lunches together, especially after the loss of his wife Sue five years ago. For our February luncheon, Ron called me and said he was not feeling well and had to cancel out attending. Our future luncheons will not be the same, since we will be missing our dear friend and the most humorous person in the group. 
To the East Family we are thinking of you during this time of sorrow. May the memories of joyful times in the past, bring your family comfort in the days ahead. As the days and weeks pass, may the love of your family and friends help carry you through your grief. Your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.



Ron was my first supervisor after I graduated in 1981 , for over 10 years. Over the years we became good friends and kept in touch until his passing. I will miss him dearly and will miss his sense of humor. May his soul rest in eternal peace.  Ameen.
