Marion E. Hartman

Hartman, Marion E., 92, of Clearwater. On July 8, 2013, our loving mother went to be with the Lord. Born in West Chester, PA, she was raised in Scranton, lived in Reading, PA, Pittsburgh, PA and Severn, MD before moving to Clearwater in 1981. As a snowbird, she and her husband Kenneth spent many wonderful, memorable summers at their family cottage in NE PA. She was a member of Skycrest United Methodist Church where she was very active in the Methodist women’s groups. She was an avid seamstress, loved doing crossword puzzles and other mind games. She also loved listening to music, especially Perry Como. Marion was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 2007. She is survived by 3 daughters, Phyllis Bartlett (Bill) of Maceo, KY, Karen Williams of Clearwater and Sandra Soltysik of Trinity, FL; a brother, Ernest Gromlich of Milton, PA; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 2 – 4 PM at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater. Graveside services will be held 11 AM on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo.
