Marilyn Ann Cohen

Marilyn “Lynn” Cohen, age 76, passed away on Saturday July 16, 2022 in Palm Harbor Florida. Marilyn was born July 6, 1946 in Buffalo, NY but spent most of her life in Florida where she attended the University of Florida with a major in Art History. Lynn had a life-long love of art and created many beautiful paintings that were enjoyed by her family. Lynn enjoyed spending time at her cabin in Tennessee and tending to her garden, as well as cooking, reading and entertaining friends.

Lynn was predeceased by her late husband, Alan Cohen, her parents, John and Jean Casey and brother David Casey. Lynn is survived by her three children, Lisa Jacobs (Bill) of St. Louis, MO, Suzanne Stewart (Justin) of Chicago, IL and Rich Fredette (Kati Heifner) of Odessa, Florida, as well as her 4 grandchildren, Shaina Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Clayton Funicelli and Reese Fredette. Lynn was also loved by cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm for Lynn on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home (2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL) with a service starting at noon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lynn’s name may be made to the Dementia Society of America
