Lawrence J Roesler “Larry” of Clearwater peacefully departed from this earth Sunday, Aug. 17 under hospice care. Born in Dunkirk, NY and preceded in death by his parents Walter and Peggy Roesler and son Scott Roesler.. Survived by his devoted wife Debby (Ball Hummel) Roesler, step-daughter Stacie (John Paul) Garcia, New Port Richey, FL ,daughter Sabrina (Kurt) Perry Dunkirk, NY, daughter-in-law Ronda (Scott) Roesler, sisters’ Patsy (Dave) Green, Bradenton, FL, Beth (Keith) Hanrahan, Ormond Beach, FL, Barbara (Douglas) McFadden, Missouri City, TX, step-mother Rita Roesler, Largo, FL and 7grandchildren. Larry is also survived by many family members and friends who loved him and will miss him. Larry was a devoted, loving husband and committed to his family.
Larry was a graduate of Dunkirk High School class of 1968 and a graduate of Bryant School of Business. Larry was a self-made entrepreneur including ownership of an indoor slot car racing store, manager of several Real Estate offices, real estate investor, past president of Fredonia Chamber of Commerce, owner of a bowling pro-shop and bowling tournament club and owner of a small handy-man business. He was a football enthusiast , knowledgeable and devoted fan to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills. Larry’s passion for many years was bowling. He was a member of the USBC coaches association and was a Silver Level coach. Larry was involved in coaching the Youth Jr Leagues and many individuals. He received many awards throughout the years for all of his accomplishments.
Larry was a member of the Spiritualist Church and provided spiritual guidance connecting those around him in all areas of life and spiritual growth. He lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment, always with love in his heart and a smile. He was taken from his family and friends too early in life. Although Heaven has gained another angel, his love and devotion will always live on in our hearts.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760, the hospicefoundation.org
