Judith "Judy" Ann Bowman

Judy was a retired oncology RN from Moffitt Cancer Center, part of the first nursing staff when the Center opened in 1986. She has lived in her beloved Tampa, Florida ever since.

Judy’s last day was a happy one spent visiting, speaking to and singing along with many of her friends, children and grandchildren. Judy’s cousin, Eppie Lanham, born two weeks apart and by her side since infancy, aided in most every moment of Judy’s illness. As she was throughout Judy’s life, Eppie was by her side at the very end. Her boundless love and devotion were of immense comfort and reassurance to Judy.

Judy Bowman is survived by her son Doug and his wife Donna Renck of Tampa, grandsons Richard Deaton and Spencer Renck, and is predeceased by her son Craig in 2009.

Judy had quite the extended family. She met her husband Tom Clinton, who predeceased her in 1996, when he was a patient at the cancer center where she worked. With Tom, she is survived by step-sons Greg Clinton, Mike Clinton, Steve Clinton, Kevin Clinton, and step-daughters Patty Hoffman and Jen Ferrer. She is predeceased by her step-son Jim Clinton. In addition, Judy’s extended Clinton family includes 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

With her husband Bob Bowman, who predeceased her in 2009, Judy is survived by step-sons Bobby Bowman, Tommy Bowman, and Dan Bowman, and step-daughters Beth Stone and Jill Turner. In her Bowman family Judy is survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Judy Bowman was a beloved woman and a woman of deep faith. Family was extremely important to Judy and she showed endless love to all of those in her large and extended family. Judy will always be deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

A mass will be held in honor of Judy Bowman on Monday, November 7th

at: Saint Paul Catholic Church

Tampa, Florida

Viewing at 9:00 a.m with mass following at 10:00 a.m.

At noon a Graveside Service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home

2853 Sunset Point Rd.

Clearwater, Florida

with a reception immediately following.

A Celebration of Life for her friends and relatives in Louisville, Kentucky is being planned for a later date
