TIPPS, James R. age 77, of Safety Harbor passed away on January 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by wife Carol of 54 years, daughter Pamela Case(Richard) and son James Jr.(Lisa) and grandchildren, Lindsey, Andrew, Courtney, Trevor, and Stuart. Jim graduated from Baylor University in 1959. After graduation he served in the U.S. Army before beginning a lifelong career with the JCPenney Co. He spent his last 12 years as the manager of the Countryside Mall store. He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch NASCAR, golf and his Baylor Bears. A private family gravesideservice will be held, with a Celebration of Life at a later date.
