Donald Joseph Alexander

Donald Joseph Alexander, (Don), born on December 10, 1956, in Newton, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 31, 2024, at the age of 67, in New Port Richey, Florida. He was the beloved husband of Marianne Alexander, with whom he shared 30 years of married life. Don is survived by his wife and his son, Donald Joseph Alexander Jr., his sisters Dale Mills and Debra Ellis, brother-in-laws Don Mills and Ed Ellis, sister-in-laws Annette Hoffmann and Sue La Barbera Alestra, extended family including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Don had a love of many things including music, classic cars, freshwater fishing, good movies and good food. He loved people, especially his family, but most of all His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to whom he held close throughout his life.

As we bid farewell to Don, we celebrate a life that, though filled with years of medical challenges, persevered to the end.

His memory will always be cherished, and we thank God for the gift of his life.

A visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A graveside will occur Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:29 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
