Palumbo, Albert M, 76 of Safety Harbor, Florida. A native of Boston, MA, Albert moved to FL in the 1970s. He was a business owner in the Construction Industry for 30+ years. He was active in Indian Rocks Baptist Church Connection Group as a substitute teacher; in years past was an avid sportsman involved in boxing, skiing, scuba diving (completed 141 documented dives!) swimming, white water rafting, jogging, golf and tennis. Stayed active at the gym all of his adult life...
During his later years, and in spite of physical limitations, he was an avid traveler and cruiser with wife, Lisa, who survives him. Together, they visited diverse places from Alaska to Havana to the Caribbean.
Albert was an optimistic, positive person, filled with hope for the future. He possessed a tremendous love of the Lord and never doubted that he would be with the Lord after his passing.
Albert lived life with zest. His physician described him this way:, "if there was a moment Al didn't grab at, well, I don't know when that was."
Albert will be missed tremendously but we will continue to look toward him for inspiration and strength and courage.
