Ruth Ann Bailey

Born January 24, 1957 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Owen and Margaret (Stevens) Litzinger.

She was a graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School.

Mrs. Bailey had retired from Snyders of Hanover.

She loved her family dearly, was a hard worker and a great cook. She was a very kind person, always thinking of and helping others and will be greatly missed.

Ruth Ann is survived by her mother, Margaret of Clearfield; her six siblings: Debora Brown of Ocala, FL., Owen Litzinger (Sue) of Madera, Patty Collins of West Decatur, Robert Litzinger of Clearfield, Mary Lansberry (Carl) of Smoke Run and Velda Ross (Howard) of Clearfield; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved Silky Terrier, Munchkin, who was her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, Bruce E. Bailey whom she married July 18, 1987 and who passed away May 3, 2023 and a sister, Karen Reed.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield with Rev. John F. White officiating. Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
