Mrs. Litz was born on December 10, 1932 in Woodland, the daughter of Oswalt and Ruth (Buck) Maines Goss.
She was a homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and she was a Girl and Boy Scout Leader in Alabama and Kentucky.
Mrs. Litz is survived by five children: Sue Helsel of Kellytown; Bob Litz (companion Carol) of Bloomington; Sandra Hensley (husband Butch) of Epharta; William Litz (wife Patricia) of Grant, MI; Edward Litz (companion Victoria) of Olanta; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Rosemary of New York and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Maynard Goss; husband Raymond D. Litz; son, David Litz and daughter, Joanne Holt; four brothers: Wesley, Walter, Kenneth and Paul Maines; and four sisters: Vie, Alice Redford, Betty Green, Jeanette Harris.
Friends will be received at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, on November 18, 2022. Visitation will be held 10am to 12pm. Services will be at 12pm with Reverend John White officiating. Interment will follow at Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.
