Priscilla "Till" J. Teats

Born February 5, 1937, in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Buford and Irene (Wisor) Smith.

Mrs. Teats had been employed with the United States Postal Service at Mineral Springs Post Office and then retiring as Postmaster on June 30, 2008 after 41 years of service.

She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, shopping with her granddaughters and cooking for her great-granddaughter. Priscilla loved growing and taking care of her flowers and indoor plants. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and dearest friends. She was a member of Bible Tabernacle Church of Mineral Springs.

Priscilla is survived by her son, Dennis “Butch” Teats and his wife Margie of Woodland, two granddaughters; Travesty Krupa and her husband Ronnie and Brandis Teats, a great- granddaughter, Brinlee Krupa and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Leroy Teats whom she married July 3, 1958 and who passed away March 26, 2002, a sister, Gloria Valenza and three brothers; James, Arthur and Edward Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Knepp officiating. Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
