Rick grew up in North Carolina and which he remained for the greatest part of his life. He enjoyed his occupation as a Truck Driver which took him distances long and far but always wanted to be close to those he loved.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Mary Elsie Lynch Parrish Casey and Richard Lewis Parrish Sr. He is survived by Fiancé Merle Medin, Mother in Residence Hazel Parrish, his Sister Teresa Parrish, Sister Mary Ann Harper, Sister Regina Houang & Brother-in-Law Kevin and Nieces Julianna and Sierra, Brother Chip Casey, Sister Michelle Parrish & Brother-in-Law Tony Lineberry and Niece Logan Lineberry and Nephew Worth Lineberry, Brother Mark Parrish and Sister-in-Law Maria Parrish & Nephew Mark A. Parrish and Uncle Ron Parrish.
Rick was always a person that was driven to be happy and kind to others. He was dedicated to those around him as well as his work, which kept close to heart, always. He was known for sending cards for all occasions or just to say I love you. His laugh and big smile were infections to all those he encountered every day. The Love of his Life was Merle whom he cherished and will forever be a part of the Family.
Rick was a Graduate of Oak Ridge Military Academy and later a member of the National Guard which he took great pride in his service.
