Lucy Elizabeth Hutchins

Lucy was born in Annapolis, MD to parents Kathy and Doug Hutchins on December 1, 2009. She was a second grade student at River Dell Elementary School in Clayton, NC. Lucy was full of exuberance and joy and loved her family including her new puppy, Penny and two cats, Princess and Kosmo.

Lucy is survived by her parents, Kathy and Doug Hutchins; her sister, Ella Hutchins; her maternal grandparents, Camelle and Joseph Firda; her paternal grandmother, Carol Hutchins; Aunts Denise Firda and Katie (Bobby) Jones; Uncles Hutch Hutchins (Bobbi Jo) and Matt Hutchins; Cousins Brian Hutchins, Matthew Hutchins, Timmy Beckwith, Kaitlyn Jones, Ryan Jones, Boh Hutchins, Dylan Hutchins, and Little Matt Hutchins.

Lucy is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Wayne Hutchins.

Memorials may be given to Wake County SPCA, where her father volunteers.

The family of Lucy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Johnston County EMS, Clayton Fire Department, WakeMed Hospital, River Dell Elementary School, and the community of Clayton.

Visitation will be 3-5:00pm on Saturday May 26, 2018 followed by Memorial Service at 5:00pm on at McLaurin Funeral Home.
