Lisa Ann Fowler Jeffris

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Lisa was born May 4, 1961 in Wake County to the late James Earl Fowler and the late Sadie Morgan Fowler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Fowler, jr. and Kathy Matthews. Lisa is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sienna Sadie.

Lisa enjoyed cooking and baking, of which her reputation preceded her. She crafted scrumptious cakes and pies, enjoying the task most at Christmas time, when she would prepare a huge and delicious feast that took days to create!

Touching on Christmas time again, Lisa took great pride in her decorations, with the crowning achievement being the Christmas tree, strung with popcorn, hearkening to old times.

Above all else, Lisa cherished and loved her girls and grandchildren beyond measure.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn Ellis and husband Justin of Clayton and Rhonda Parrish of Louisburg, grandchildren, Sebastian, Triston, Athena, and Ashton. Brothers and sisters Shelby Rogers of Knightdale, Jackie Poole of Garner, Larry Fowler of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Bonnie Strickland of Clayton.
