Jennifer Ward Lent

Jennifer Ward Lent was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Ray & Carol Ward on April 22, 1979. She went to school in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Scott Allen Lent, Jr on May 14, 2016 in Smithfield, North Carolina. She graduated from Central Piedmont Community College.

She worked as an information processing tech for the Department of Human Health Services for the blind for 11 years.

Jennifer Ward Lent is survived by spouse, Scott Allen Lent Jr; brother, Samuel Ward; sister, Amanda Ward Davies; father, Ray Ward and mother, Carol Ward.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the SPCA of Johnston County and the Duke Cancer Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The family of Jennifer Ward Lent wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Neeraj Agrawal and his staff, all the nurses in the treatment center, and the members of C3 Church in Clayton, North Carolina.

Funeral services for immediate family will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1pm at McLaurin Funeral Home with Andrew Kurtz of C3 Church officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Arrangements are by McLaurin Funeral Home

A celebration of life for Jennifer Ward Lent will be held following the funeral service at 174 Patricia Drive, Smithfield, North Carolina for family and friends to express condolence at 3pm.

The family kindly requests that you wear yellow in honor of Jennifer. Please, no black attire.
