Jean Turner Murray

Jean Turner Murray, daughter of the late Rowland and Nellie Pounds Turner passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 82. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McLaurin Funeral Home, following the committal service at the cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Chris D. Murray; sisters, Mary Ann Rhodes, Arlene Hassell and Shirley Coble; grandchildren, Amanda Arnold and husband, Matt, Nina Duff and husband, Tyler; Joey Murray and wife Janie, Jason Murray and Jeremy Murray; three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Michael Murray; grandson, Byrone Murray; daughter-in- law, Sheree Patterson Murray; brother, Eugene Turner and former husband, D.J. Murray.
