A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 US 70 Business Highway West, Clayton, North Carolina. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Gary was born in Dover, Delaware on October 19, 1963 to Bruce Gary Mann and the late Wanda Rose Drozdzak Mann. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by several beloved aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Kim Briggs Mann; two daughters, Karly and Kelly; brother, Dale Mann; and nephew and niece Carter and Baily Mann.
Gary attended University of Delaware. He was a 6-year member of the Air Force Reserves as a Tech Sergeant, and was in the Keesler Air Force Base Drum and Bugle Corps. He was employed as a Regional Field Manager at T.A. Instruments/Waters Corporation.
Gary enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, taking trips to the beach, attending concerts, especially Karly’s music gigs, or just blasting music at home, golfing with his buddies, hosting cookouts and shrimp boils, watching his girls dance, and happy hours with box merlot. We will miss his big smile and genuine hugs.
