Edward Bentley Bergamini, age 78, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Treeo Senior Living in Raleigh, North Carolina. No local services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He was born on March 13, 1944 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to the late Charles Bergamini and the late Helen Stelle Bergamini. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gayle Sanderson Bergamini in 2020.
Mr. Bergamini was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from automotive sales. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his Grandchildren and his cat Shadow.
He is survived by his son Edward Bentley “Ben” Bergamini, Jr.,daughter in-law Amanda Lawler and three grandchildren, Anna Bergamini, Avery Bergamini and Everett Bergamini; brothers and sisters,
Susan and George Bergamini, Brothers in Law-Glenn Sanderson and Gary Sanderson.
