Harley Alexander “Alex” Shirley, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the age of 21. Alex was born in Johnston County on January 24, 2001. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with the family receiving friends at McLaurin Funeral Home from 12:00 until 1:30pm prior to the service.
Alex is survived by his mother, Kristi Lee; father, Ronnie Shirley, Jr. and his wife, Amy; brother, Gabe Shirley; sisters, Alexa Shirley and Maggie Shirley; grandparents, Richard Lee, Judy Shirley, Ronnie Shirley and Jessie Phillips.
Alex had a passion for helping people on their road to recovery. In lieu of flowers, the family would love support in getting Alex’s scholarship foundation started for those needing rehab assistance.
