Our Father fulfilled many roles in life. Most joyful in his roles as husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Dad was also a proud Navy Veteran, a member of IBEW Local 340, a skilled fly fisherman, prospector and rock collector.
By example he taught tolerance and forgiveness for the actions of others. Dad always recognized value in broken tools and broken people and never discarded either one.
The youngest and last surviving of four brothers. Born to Oregon pioneering families dad had a keen interest in genealogy and spent countless hours researching our family ancestors.
Dad held on to life as long as he was able so that he might watch over and protect his wife of 73 years our mother Jewell. Sadly for all of us his heart finally gave out and he peacefully slipped away on July 7th at the age of 93. He will forever be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
