Ronald Dale Swoyer, 92, passed away on August 13, 2023. He was born on September 2, 1930 in Pickaway County to the late Ray and Florence (Richardson) Swoyer. He was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Swoyer and sister, Mary Davis.
Ron was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He retired from Dupont and served in the National Guard. He loved to go bowling, farming, gardening, canning strawberry jam and traveling the world.
Ron is survived by his wife of 70 years, Virginia (Valentine) Swoyer; daughter, Cheryl Swoyer of Powell; son, Randall (Corinna) Swoyer of Circleville; grandchildren, Jason and Nickolas Huffer, Courtney (Ryan) Hart, and Hannah Harvey; great grandchildren, Jack, Lyla, Kennedy and Harper Hart, Cadence and Neo Huffer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10am until 12pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio 43113. The funeral will immediately follow with Rev. Mark Nodo the officiant. Interment to follow at Forest Cemetery.
