Matthew Dale Heffington

Matt was a life-long resident of Chowchilla and worked as a truck driver for several years. Family was “EVERYTHING” to Matt, and his biggest joy was the day that he became a father to Asher. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Henry “Donny” Heffington Jr; mother, Deanna Wilkerson; grandfather, Henry Heffington Sr.; grandmothers, Judy Heffington and Sharon “Peaches” Fanning; and his aunts, Suzy Heffington and Angie Heffington.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Heffington; sons, Asher Heffington and Jordan Hamlin; brothers, Jeffrey Heffington, Michael Heffington, Rickey Wilkerson, Tyler Wilkerson, Namon Wilkerson, and Josh Wilkerson; sisters, Tiffany Williams and Christina Heffington; grandfather, Gary Fanning; aunts, Laura Fanning and Tammie Neal; and uncles, Robby and Steve Fanning. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A Memorial Service for Matthew will be held at a later date.
