Caroline Bermudez Guillen

Caroline Bermudez Guillen, age 91, of Hesperia, California passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Victorville, California. Caroline was born in Alhambra, CA to Mr. Emidio Bermudez and Maria Mienos Bermudez.

Caroline was a homemaker, wife and loving mother who was devoted to her family. Caroline was married to her best friend David for many years. They built a beautiful family together and cherished every moment together. She was known for her hearty laugh and kind heart. She was the heart of her home and the soul of her family, and she will be dearly missed.

Caroline is survived by her loving husband, David Lewis Guillen; her sons, Roger and Samuel Guillen; her daughter-in-law, Miriam Guillen; and her sister Annie Bermudez. Caroline is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Brenna Bannister, Samuel Drake Guillen, Morgan Samantha Guillen, Aarron Guillen and Tori Guillen; her 2 grandchildren-in-laws, Dustin Bannister and Sara Guillen and 3 great grandchildren, Braxtin and Brenstin Bannister and Benjamin Guillen who will honor and cherish her memory and truly miss her. She also leaves behind numerous family and friends to cherish her memory.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, Emidio Bermudez and Maria Mienos Bermudez; her sisters, Nellie Valenzuela, Carmen Salcido and Virginia Wohlsein; and brothers, Tony Bermudez, Marcelino Bermudez and Joe Bermudez.

Arrangements are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Chino.

Afterglow

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
