Timothy Blair Smith

Born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, he was the son of Larry James Smith and Marie Ellen Griffith Smith, both who survive.

Timothy was a faithful member of South China Grove Baptist Church, where he was always praising the name of Jesus, never ashamed to express his love and adoration to Christ.

He had a big heart and beaming smile. In an article published in the Salisbury Post on November 20, 2011, reporter Gordon Furr wrote that “Timmy’s joyful demeanor helps brighten the days of many people ---- including Gordon Furr.” Furr continued by saying, “I find it amazing that just this one fellow, with just his smile, has changed many times the way I felt about my world and future.”

He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Larry and Marie Smith; one brother, Larry Warren Smith; one sister, Karen Jean Schnurr; and two nieces, Ashton Nichole Smith and Hailey Morgan Smith.

The family will receive friends at South China Grove Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Curtis Parker officiating.

Burial will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
