Nancy Carol Carter

Born on December 29, 1929 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Hinson and Margaret Kennerly Hinson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Billy Reece Carter, and her sons Anthony Dean Carter and Dana Carter.

Mrs. Carter was quite an avid painter, where creating some of her oil paintings were things she loved to do, as well as playing golf with her husband Billy.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son Christopher Carter (Wanda) and her grandchildren; Jonathan Dean Carter (Rachael) and Cheryl Lynn VanDyke (James) along with her great grandchildren Candon Carter, Aiden Carter and Sydney Carter.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral services scheduled for 11 am also at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Burns, officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
