Mr. Michael “Steve” Smith, 78 of Salisbury died at NC Baptist Hospital on Friday, February 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelyn Smith, two sisters Alice Fulton and Margaret Albright. He is survived by two children, Judy (Deac) Dawson and Scott (Lara) Smith and one sister Evelyn Nicholson, three grandchildren, Dylan and Nick Dawson and Owen Smith. Steve was an avid car enthusiast who loved drag racing, spending time with his grandchildren and Duke basketball.
There will be a visitation on Saturday February 10 from 12:00 till 2:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. In lieu to flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
