Lonnie J. Williams

Lonnie J Williams, age 93 passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis. Born August 22, 1930, he was the son of the late Lonnie Williams Sr. and Eva Williams.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his Daughter Faye Krimminger, his three brothers and his sister.

When able, Lonnie faithfully attended Kannapolis First Wesleyan Church. He loved to fish and golf. While Mr. Williams was a quiet man, everyone seemed to love him and look forward to his friendly waves.

Those Left with cherished memories are his sons; Lonnie Williams (Valerie), and Ronnie Williams (Susan), his seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with a graveside service to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The service will be officiated by Pastor Scott Wheeler.
