Eugene Alexander Corriher Sr.

Eugene A. Corriher Sr. "Gene" passed away on January 10,2024 at Tucker Hospice Inpatient Unit in Kannapolis. Gene was born on August 6, 1943 in Concord, NC to Joseph Frederick Corriher Sr. and Mary Alexander Corriher. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph Frederick Corriher Jr.. He is survived by his daughter Candie Corriher and son in law Philip Toth of Sherwood Oregon, son Alex Corriher and daughter in law Tracey Allman and granddaughter Hannah Corriher of China Grove, NC and granddaughter Hailey Townsend, grandson in law Justin Townsend, Great granddaughters Hallie and Harper Townsend all of Surfside Beach SC. Also surviving him is his former wife Brenda Lawson Mikkelsen, sister in law Bonnie Corriher, nephews; Frederick Corriher and Lotan Corriher, nieces; Susan Corriher, Charlotte Corriher and Mary Corriher as well as great niece Ambria Barbee, great niece Leah Corriher, great nephews; Cort Corriher, Ote Corriher and Brandon Price.

Gene worked with his family at Linn- Corriher Corporation in Landis for many years until it was sold to Dominion Textiles in 1981. He was an avid photographer and loved antique cameras, so after he left Linn- Corriher, he repaired cameras at his Corriher Camera Service in Landis.

Gene loved nothing more than spending quality time with his family and friends, and lending a helping hand to others when needed.

At Gene's request, there will be no visitation or services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Tucker Inpatient Unit, Hospice and palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5005 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
