Chad Trent Young

Chad Trent Young, age 24, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at home. Chad was born on July 26, 1994 in Rowan County to Brandy Davis. He attended Rowan County Schools, was a 2012 graduate of South Rowan High School, and worked in the construction industry. Chad had a great personality and loved to entertain and make people laugh, especially his mother, Brandy. He had a tremendous passion for helping children no matter what the circumstances. He enjoyed playing video and computer games and loved to fish. He had a special love for wings (his favorite food) from Christos in Salisbury and loved mexican food from the Taco Truck in China Grove. Of all the things, he loved most was spending time with his young son, Nolan. All who knew and loved him will miss Chad.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Brandy Davis (Brad Wyatt), his father, Tommy Sheets, his young son, Nolan Trent Young, and his girlfriend, Gracie James, who is expecting their child in September. He also leaved behind his grandmothers, Elizabeth Rhymer and Belle Ross. His sisters, Brittany Davis Alire (Freddie), Destiny Good and Kira Good along with his nephews, Leo and Cole Alire and Apollo Ludlam, also survive him.

Visitation for Chad will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 5:00 – 6:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00pm in the Chapel of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home. Memorials in Chad’s honor are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
