Rylan Mackenzie Cameron

Rylan Mackenzie Cameron passed away on April 14,2021 in Chilliwack, BC, at the age of 26. He was born in Burnaby, BC and is survived by his parents, Bruce & Erin, his brother Tyler, sister-in-law Courtney, nephew Harrison & his faithful sidekicks Kenzie & of course, Leo.

Rylan was a heavy-duty mechanic & worked at Powder King Mtn Resort, Mt Norquay & Sasquatch Mtn Resort. He specialized in working on the groomers. He loved every minute that he was on the Mountains. Working during the day & sledding or snowboarding at night. Always a smile on his face & easily made good friends wherever he worked. Rylan was all about fun and adventure.

Whether it was camping, hiking, side-by-siding or waterskiing, he loved everything outdoors. Long hikes with his Uncle Chris was one of his favorite pastimes. We often have said Rylan was very similar to his Uncle in many ways.

He loved all his buddies, Fire Ball, Old Milwaukee beer (or whatever was in his Dad’s fridge) & dogs. Every ski hill he worked at he seemed to adopt one of the dogs there. Then last year he finally got his own puppy, Leo.

Ry had friends that will miss him dearly Justin, Kaiden, Colton, Jeran, Matt x 2 and Alex and we are certain we have missed many others, he has friends from Mexico to Northern BC! Like his best friend said, “enjoy the clouds baby, now your definitely at the highest peak”.

He will forever be missed in our family especially by his mom and dad, brother, Courtney, Harrison, his Nana, Papa, Auntie Bonny, Auntie Heather, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Chris, Julia, Ciaran, Eric, Carl, Autumn & Dawson.

It is very hard for us to end this as there is so much more to say about our son.

We love him, miss him but will always remember his smile, his beautiful blue eyes, his hugs and know his free spirit will live on in our hearts forever! We love you buddy!
