Michael Thomas Ratushniak passed away on April 15th, 2024 in Chilliwack, BC at age 94. He was born in Canora, Saskatchewan. Mike is survived by his son Michael (Alicia), daughter Cheryl (Peter), Grandson Kodi (Zoey), sisters Lil, Vicky, and Shirley, and several nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his wife Adrienne, his mom Kay, his brothers Emil and Joe, and his sister Carol.
Mike served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1951-1979, serving in many areas in Canada and overseas. After retiring from the Armed Forces, he became a courier.
Mike and his wife Adrienne moved to Chilliwack in 1992 to be closer to enjoy family and their new grandson Kodi. In his spare time, he played a lot of hockey and golf. He was also involved with clubs such as the Elks Club, the Legion, and Army Navy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 2-3 pm at the Sardis Sports Complex (formerly known as Twin Rinks), 5725 Tyson Road, Chilliwack, BC. A reception will follow at the Jolly Miller Pub, 5865 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, BC.
