Hugh Gillis Cooper

1936 to 2019

It is with sad hearts, we announce the death of our loving father Hugh Cooper, who passed away suddenly on May 23, 2019.

Hugh was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and is survived by his dearly loved daughter and son-in law, Debby and Larry, and his beloved daughter Donna. Hugh was a devoted and faithful servant of Jehovah, serving as an elder, right up until his passing. Hugh thoroughly enjoyed road trips, train trips and was also a lover of all of Jehovah's creation, especially dogs and horses. He was known as someone who truly cared about all of his fellow brothers and sisters in his congregation and also the worldwide organization, and his neighbors. Hugh, all of his family and dear friends, long for the Bible-based hope of seeing one another again, in Jehovah's New System, here on earth, in complete peace and security. John 5:28-29 and Revelation 21:3,4.
