Our Dear friend and mentor Brian remains forever  in our hearts and minds. Our peace of his passing lies in the knowledge that he is experiencing what the Lord has promised to those that believe  in Him: to be with the Lord forever.  We miss Brian and along with his family grieve  the loss  of his presence in our daily lives. But we know the MJB group will be together again .

I can't believe I just located Dr Brian Johnson after decades later, only to realize he slipped out of this world before I put pen to paper to write to him and tell him how much he meant to me years ago during university. He was instrumental in pulling me out of the muddy pit and setting my feet upon a rock, along with God and Brian's cognitive therapy approach. When my faith was faltering and I was questioning my beliefs, my ability to survive, and the point of it all, he was the constant. I know I'll be able to thank him someday, but now is when I wanted to.  So to his wife and family, I wanted to make sure I honoured him and expressed my gratitude for the positive impact he had in my life when I was sinking and hanging on by a scant thread. I'm so grateful for him. He changed my life, I was set free from the blackest depression, and I was able to forge on and eventually look forward.

We were so saddened to hear the news of Brian’s passing. His winsome smile and easy going ways made him a pleasure to be around. You two were instrumental in giving us a start in our careers and we enjoyed our connection with you both over the years.

We struggle for words to express our feelings.  We do know that although Brian has been taken, no one can take away the many memories you created together.  We cherish our memories, created by being neighbours and friends. We share your grief and send hugs, regretting we can't be with you at this time.
