Diane Pearl Clawson

Diane was born on March 13, 1947 in Vancouver. She was the second child of Lloyd “Lucky” Fordham of the Seaforth Highlanders and English war bride Alice Fordham (Deadman). Diane had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Diane grew up and lived most of her life in Burnaby before moving to Chilliwack in 2006.

Diane went to Inman Elementary School and Moscrop High School in Burnaby. She started on a career as a cook in a hospital before retiring from that shortly after and embarking as a full time wife, mother and eventually grandmother.

In 1967 Diane met the love of her life Alfred Joseph Clawson. They were married in June 1969 and were married for 27 years. Diane and Alf had 2 children: Michelle and Giles. Alf passed away in 1996 and was dearly missed by Diane.

A celebration of life for Diane will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9.
