David Reimer went to be with the Lord and his wife on July 21, 2016 at Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 93. Born in the Ukraine, the family moved to Germany. Following WWII, the family immigrated to Canada settling in Vancouver. David’s studies earned him a B.A. in Christian Education. Being of strong faith he managed numerous christian bookstores in western Canada with the last being the Canadian Bible Society Bookstore in Edmonton for 24 years. He was predeceased by his parents David and Anna, sister Anita and wife Helen. David is survived by his sons Werner “Hank” (Velda) and Peter and grandsons Tyler (Jennifer) Michael (Sydnee), Josh (Alicia) and Cody and great grandchildren Damon, Kayden and Presley and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Bible Society, www.biblesociety.ca.
