Bethany is survived by her father James Skelton and her mother Katie Skelton; her brother Thomas James "T.J." Skelton; her grandfather Douglas Skelton, her grandmother Evelyn Skelton, numerous Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins and her special Second Cousins.
Bethany was preceded in death by her grandfather Tom Bowen, her grandmother Martha Bowen, and her uncle Steve Rowe.
Bethany spent many years caregiving for her maternal grandparents. She took care of them till their death. She was taking care of her paternal grandparents too who will miss her very much. She was a painter and would write beautiful poems. She was a treasure to her parents. She was a lover of everything skulls. Most people called her Bethany Skeleton and she totally embraced it. She loved a band named Family Force Five. She was their biggest fan and friend.
Many of her friends talk of the big heart Bethany had . She loved deep; she truly was selfless . She had special relationships with her cousins and second cousins. Her best friend talks of how incredibly beautiful she and her heart were.
She had been sick a long time and her body gave out. She will be missed dearly by her parents and her brother, along with many other family and friends.

A memorial service for Bethany will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Broadway Church of Christ, Sylacauga, AL.
