Dear Doreen,

I'm sorry I didn't hear of Bob's passing until a couple of days ago.  I know it's been a long and difficult time for you and your entire family.  I only wanted you to know that I'm very sorry for your loss - it's odd how Sue and I would keep running into you and Bob!  Candy has my contact information, I don't know what you'll see here, so if you want to get together for lunch at Capri, let me know.  God bless you and yours and keep you safe.



All my memories of Bob are fantastic, However, one stands out on top.
2 years ago my husband Joe, Bob's cousin, had to have his knee replaced When Bob & Doreen  found out I would be at the hospital alone while he was in surgery, they insisted on being there. They were both at the hospital at 6am. They were able to talk with Joe before surgery & they stayed with me until Joe was in his room. That was 10 extra hours of family love & I will never forget it.




I'll never forget the first time I met Bob & Doreen.  It was 22 years ago at Hickory Hills Campground.  We were the new neighbors down the hill.  They were walking past our campsite.  Bob had a smile on his face, an Old Style in his left hand and his right hand was reached out to introduce themselves to me and my wife Kathy.  He welcomed us and said "If there is anything you guys need, let us know."  That's how Bob lived his life.  He always cared about others.  Bob would take a whole week off of work to set up for Christmas In July at HHC.  I asked him why he did that.  His answer was simple.. "I do it for the kids."  Thousands of kids and their families would come and spend the weekend to see "Highland" in it's glory.   I want to just say Thank You Bob for always having a smile on your face and being such an influence on so many of us.  You may have left this world way to soon, but you have left your mark.  Keep a "cold one" for me.

One of my favorite memories of Bob would be “Christmas in july” up at Hickory Hills Campground.  The amount of passion, dedication, and effort he put into getting ready for that weekend was unbelievable!  To this day I believe the reason the campground sold out that weekend was because of what he did to the “hill”.  Love you Bob! You will never be forgotten! 

It’s not how long a man lives in this world but how deeply he was loved and how big he lived his life.    In your moment of grief, remember that he was always full of life, a fun, kind and incredible man who truly loved his family and friends.

Bob was one of a kind!! I will cherish all the fond memories I have of him. Anyone that knows Bob, loves Bob 💗 and friends weren’t friends you were family. I will forever miss your smile and hearing HEY BABY!!!!!!!  I know he is smiling down on everyone (probably flipping the bird) and is proud of all his children. You all have the best parts of him. Love you all always!!

No words could explain how heavy my heart is. I always enjoyed catching his funnies on Facebook. 
My kids will always remember  
" Frosty"  from up North. 
The Angels have come to take him and he is painfree.
Truly will be missed. 

Sorry to here about Bob,  we never met him, but from what I read we would have been great friends.   Keeping you in our prayers, Joe and Kathy Keller.

First time we ever met Bob , he reached out his arm for a powerful handshake, said " Hi my names BOB no matter which way  you spell it !!! ITS STILL BOB!!!!" We laughed so hard. Many laughs later!!!! We will miss you very much!!! Declan &Terrie , Keith, Kay and the Rest of the Doyle Clan. BEST NEIGHBOR EVER!!!

Me and my husband got the honour to meet Bob. And he welcomed us with open arms, and ever since then,, we have grown to love this man more and more everyday 💞 There will never be another Bob, not like this man  He gave us many memories 💔 We love you Bob, forever and eternity 💘 Rest in peace my friend.
