Raul Reyes, a retired Chicago Firefighter, unexpectedly passed away on January 16, 2020. He is survived by a large immediate family (Wife-Yolanda, Children… Raul Jr., Raymond, Ruben, Linda, Ryan) and an even larger number of friends whom he treated as family. Raul was happiest when he was surrounded by any of his 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Raul was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up with his beloved sisters and brother, Edith, Graciela, and Edgardo. Chicago became his permanent home in 1969. His legacy of excellence started with the birth of his children and continued during his 25 plus years of service as a Chicago Fire Fighter. Friends and neighbors will miss his sparkling personality and his dedication to helping others.
Raul’s world was his family which he always protected unconditionally. We all love him and know he is in good company in a better home.
