Michael J. Muir

Michael J. Muir, age 67. Proud Vietnam United States Marine Corps Veteran, answered God's call Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV after diseases related to the Agent Orange exposure he had received while serving our Nation.

Beloved husband of 30 years to Stella, nee Maquiraya, Muir; devoted son of Mary, nee O'Neil and the late Kenneth Muir; loving father of Mark Muir; dear brother of Kenneth (Melanie) Muir, Patrick Muir, James (Elaine) Muir, Robert (Sephora) Muir, David (Barbara) Muir, Julie Ann Muir and the late Mary Jo (Lester, survived) Switalzki; brother-in-law of Lori (the late Joseph) Cortina, Ines (Alex) Bojovic and Thomasa (Edgardo) Ramos; cherished uncle to many; Michael also leaves behind many other close family and friends.

Visitation Friday February 16, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Knights of Columbus service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Saturday February 17 9:15 a.m. from Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL to St. Barnabas Church, 10134 S Longwood Drive, Chicago. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
