Linda will be remembered for her love of family, gardening, sports and animals, including two Sams, a Daisy, a Harley and White Shoes. She spent her working years in various administrative roles across multiple industries including education, healthcare and local government, where she met many wonderful friends. She was heavily involved in her children’s school, Queen of Apostles, where she worked, coached various activities, served on the athletic board, and helped plan and perform at the world famous “Queen’s Fest” as a founding member of the “Queen of Impossibles”.
She was also heavily involved in her local community including serving on the Ivanhoe Park District in various roles, including President. Having been born in Chicago, she was a rabid sports fan and loved going to White Sox games with friends and family and watching Bears and Blitz games on TV. Her true loves, however, were her children and grandchildren and she spent many days and nights watching football, baseball, basketball and softball games in addition to various plays and ballet shows.
