Leidy Souchet

Adoring Daughter of Carmen and Jorge Collazo. Beloved Wife of Mark M. Souchet. Loving mother of the late Dalila Torres, Amarilys (Brian) Squeglia, and Mark (Lilanie) Souchet. Cherished Grandmother of Jorge Anthony Boyas, Leila Castro, Isabella Cardona, and Sawyer and Sofia Squeglia. Dear Sister of Iris "Maggie" (Jesus), Olga, Nitza, and Lourdes. Fond Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Leaves behind her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Leidy was born in Villalba, Puerto Rico in 1966 to her parents Jorge and Carmen. She was a proud Puerto Rican woman of God.

She was a strong and loving mother to three children. When she became a grandmother her heart was filled again. She loved to help others. Her laugh was contagious, her heart boundless, and her door always open to anyone in need.

Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will remain strong in our hearts forever.

A visitation for Leidy will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL 60634. Concluding the visitation will be a service from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Interment will remain private.
