Frank H. La Scola, age 97, of Chicago, IL. passed away peacefully on January 7, 2019 at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Frank was born November 20, 1921 in Chicago to the late Frank and Josephine La Scola. Frank is the loving husband to the late Virginia (nee Settino) La Scola. He is the beloved father to Gerald (Rosemary) La Scola and Frank (Kelly) La Scola; proud grandfather to Natalie Allen, Benjamin La Scola and Jack La Scola; cherished great grandfather to Emma Grace Allen; brother to Michael, Charles, August, Morrie, Antoinette, and Rosie.
He and his wife were married for over 60 years. Frank honorably served in the Army during World War II, serving in the European Theater.
Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Andrew J. McGann & Sons Funeral Home (10727 S. Pulaski Road; Chicago, IL 60655).
